What is a Playlist?

A playlist is an ordered sequence of files — images and videos — that plays on a screen in a continuous loop. Each file plays one after another and the sequence repeats automatically.

How Playlists Work

  • Images display for a configurable number of seconds. You set the duration per slot when building the playlist.
  • Videos play for their full length.
  • The same file can appear multiple times in a playlist. This lets you give certain content more screen time without uploading duplicate files.
  • Once a playlist finishes, it loops back to the beginning automatically.

The Playlists Page

The Playlists section shows all your playlists as cards. Each card displays:

  • A thumbnail carousel cycling through the files in the playlist.
  • The playlist name.
  • File count, total duration, and total size.
  • Action icons: assign to player, edit, duplicate, and delete.
