What is a Playlist?
A playlist is an ordered sequence of files — images and videos — that plays on a screen in a continuous loop. Each file plays one after another and the sequence repeats automatically.
How Playlists Work
- Images display for a configurable number of seconds. You set the duration per slot when building the playlist.
- Videos play for their full length.
- The same file can appear multiple times in a playlist. This lets you give certain content more screen time without uploading duplicate files.
- Once a playlist finishes, it loops back to the beginning automatically.
The Playlists Page
The Playlists section shows all your playlists as cards. Each card displays:
- A thumbnail carousel cycling through the files in the playlist.
- The playlist name.
- File count, total duration, and total size.
- Action icons: assign to player, edit, duplicate, and delete.
